Arctostaphylos spp., Bearberry
There are many species of Arctostaphylos across North America. Even though the species vary, they share the traits of evergreen foliage, blueberry-like flowers and red fruit. Many have a colorful artistic bark. Sizes range from groundcovers to large shrubs or small trees.
