There are restaurant and grocery facilities in a small town atmosphere.  There is  new launch and landing dock on the North side of the river just upstream from a mild whitewater drop.  There is paved parking and a porta-potty.

    The small drop has two channels, the right side or North (pictured above) has a bit more white water.  The drop can be run and boats taken out downstream.  It is more difficult (rocky) and a slightly longer portage back to the parking lot.  Or you might  want to take out on the left at Lion’s Park.
